The Neu 100 Paring is for work off the cutting board or precise tasks where a short, thin blade and precision is required. A 100mm blade is about the right length to give some versatility but plenty of close-in dexterity. A thin grind gives the blade pinpoint accuracy.
The rare Rewarewa wood scales on this knife come from a storm damaged tree that I cut down on my property in the middle of the Waitākere Ranges, I cut it into slabs in 2020 and let it dry for a year and now it features on some of my knives.
